The Plainfield Beautification Fund

PACT hopes to raise $10,000 to care for and improve the shared spaces that make Plainfield feel like home. These funds will allow PACT to:

  • Purchase plants, compost, and gardening supplies for the Village flower beds at Main and Mill Streets, across from the Opera House, along Main Street, and in Washburn Park. Until now, volunteers have largely paid for these materials themselves or they have been donated.

  • Sponsor “Dumpsta Funk” in May 2027 by providing a community dumpster so residents can safely dispose of unwanted items they might not otherwise be able to afford to remove.

  • Assist households that need help with landscaping, hazardous tree removal, or controlling invasive plants that are spreading throughout the Village.

  • Install an outdoor water spigot at the Grace Methodist Church for watering town garden beds and providing access to water during emergencies.
